http://www.wingedwarrior.net This is a charity event for a local Children's hospital. It should be a good time. I will be participating although not listed yet. Maybe some other ti'ers can go an represent some BMWs. It will also be a great chance to see some crazy fast cars like 1000 hp supras, turbos M3s and etc.

The date is Saturday June 3. To get in you fill out an application to get accepted. Then there is a refundable 100 dollar deposit to hold your place that is returned once your car is there in the condition it should be.

The event is in Anderson, IN

Sign up deadline is early may so if anyone wants to do it now is the time.

A summary would say this is the ultimate, possibly, performance car shoot out. It measures all different aspects of a cars performance. There will be a skid pad, drag, autocross, slalom, and 100-0 braking. It should be a fun time. Lower hp cars should do well in everything but the drag, but overall score is what matters.

Im going to tell my coach about this one, his EVO would kill everything there.

There are only going to be 5 more evo's allowed into the event. What all has he done to his evo? The buschur evos are pretty serious cars.

I am curious to see how the hp levels compare to driver levels.

His car is pretty serious. Im not sure exactly everything he has done to the EVO but he said he has put about $10k in the engine so far and he just bought a new GT3 (mabye?) turbo for it. He says that his 0-60 is down to 3.5sec without the new turbo and I think that is a pretty accurate number. Ill ask what the hp number is if he has dynoed it yet.

Yes, There are a strange abundance of evo's already in and like 10 waiting.....lol. The highest HP one I've seen so far is like 635awhp.....lol. There is also a 1000+ hp viper, and a ton of the usual domestics. It will be fun, Andy, when I get back from school, it is time for creative weight reduction....... I wonder what we can remove next, and I have access to a set of scales........I know some people who would help us out.

GT35R?
Yeah Im pretty sure thats it. I told him about WWII and he said he knew about it and would only go there to watch. He says he thinks he is at 350hp, which is far off from the 750hp monster EVOs he says are there. His car is still insanely fast though.

Alaskablue and I also plan to be at Fastimes gokarting on Friday the 2nd of June. For every person's race, $3 will go to Riley's Children's Hospital, and outside of fastimes, cars will be inspected for the wingedwarrior challenge.
