I just got back from meeting up with Snuggz. He recently finished an obd2 3.2L S52 swap into his Ti. Check out the pics:

Enjoy!
He took me for a ride in it, it's quick and has lots of low end torque. Snuggz, we'll have to swap cars next time so you can feel what the DASC'd m44 feels like compared to the 6 swap. I'm still up in the air, I love the sound of the supercharger, but that 6 sounds pretty mean.

need to do something to shield that intake.
Grassroot Motorsports did a M42 dyno with a simple cone w/o a heat shield and lost hp from the stock airbox. Article is in this month's issue on their 318 projekt car.

This is the first "mod" that Nich has done to his car, so go easy on him.
He's an ex-Honda guy, so just be happy it's not covered in stickers.

I hope you're kidding. Unless you're sponsored, stickers are COMPLETELY RETARDED!
The only sticker I'll put one my car is to advertise a website. I'm old school, so I'm still rocking the DTMPOWER sticker (I haven't sent in for the 318ti.org stickers yet). The sticker is just there to get other enthusists into the forums.
I'm going to a Honda-Tech meet in an hour. I'll post some pictures of what your "horsepower stickers" really look like, I'm sure the Hondas will be plastered with em.

Thanks for the kind words guys, I have LOTS to do yet, including a heat shield.... Like Dusten said, this is literally my first mod to the car. I'll post a thread with some nice swap pics soon; overall it went very well with very few hang-ups and NO shortcuts. It helped to have a pro with me, my friend Dave Simon, an absolute swap brain-child (his latest baby is an RB25 powered 240...).
More to come.

Very nice! How much does a swap like that cost?

.
Is that something you will have to fabricate, or something you would buy? that's just needed for an aftermarket cold air intake, right?

It's for the CAI...

I've got about $7k-$8k invested so far. I paid $5500 for the bulk of the "swap" (motor/tranny/dme/cluster/cooling, etc) but alot of time/money went into bringing the suspension/brakes up to spec (which still isn't "done"), and TONS of money disappears for the "little stuff"...
The heatshield will either be a DIY piece of undercoated aluminum, or I might pick up one of these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=220001057678&ih=012&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT) and work around that... the CAI itself is just a 3" tube of aluminum I cut down (it'll be even shorter once the shield is in place), but I plan on going with the Euro 3.5" MAF eventually, so I want something I can modify easilly...
It's the project car, so it gets time when I have time for it... and I just opened a business, so there's not much of that these days. There's...so...much...to...do...
Oh yeah, it's a freakin' BLAST to drive... every time I drive a buddy's "fast" car, I get back in mine and continually find myself saying, "Woah...this thing rocks..."
