Here's my dream car... a bimmer, a hatchback, but not a ti. Forgive me if it's a repost.

That car is also one of my dream cars. I hope to get a dakar M coupe or a S54 engined M coupe some time in my life. Looks are controversial, but I like them.

Umm.....no, the only thing e46 about them is the 02's had the S54 engine. Alaskablue, I have a dakar coupe to trade you on GT4.....just picked 4 of em up on the game today....:) I also saw a s52 on autotrader for 15k.....almost made me want to get a loan.....I think if I can't find a 318ti in excellent condition for a price reasonable to its blue book value, I will pay the extra and get the Mcoupe, or at least a 3.0L coupe.....I love the z3's, far better than the z4's

I love the Z3/M Coupes. Im not sure why people dont like their looks. I thought E36 and E46 was only 3 series generations. Are the Zs considered part of the 3 series generation?

i sat inside one of those. Feels nice, kinda scary cuz the front is long, hehe. The clutch is very very soft.

ya i would have to agree that it is a car that i have dreamed of for a while ... i got the chance to ride with one a couple weeks ago ... it was a realy rich kid in Manarch Beach .... hey got it for his first car ... he totaled it a week ago on Ortega highway

If I am not mistaken ... witch I may very well be ... I believe that they have some of the same parts

e21, e30, e36, e46, e90

They're all 3 series. But Z3's are listed as e36/7, Z4's are listed as e85, and Z8's as e52.

So I guess technically, no, Z cars are not 3 series, but as pointed out they do share a heck of a lot of parts with their contemporary 3 series; even some of the Z8 / M Roadster parts are interchangable.

I've driven next to a couple. Both times during rush hour. One of the few things I like about living in LA. not rush hour, the cars you get to see driving around.

OMFG i am selling everythign i own for this car. Has BMw started maufacturing then or and they only in europe and must it be exported
