Does anybody know how to get the supersprint catalytic delete resonator in the US? They also call it the front muffler. None of the US shops carry it. I guess if anybody know of a UK vendor that can handle the shipping I'd be atleast interested in knowing what the shipping cost would be. Based on the other threads here I've contacted BMP, leatherz, performance automotive, and a few other folks that used to carry this part.
If not, how much of a difference would it be to cut off the muffler side of the existing catalytic converter and have a shop weld/bend up a pipe for me? That supersprint pipe is just a straight through design right?

No with out it it sounds like a tin can get the resonator if you can I love the way mine sounds.
I think it is somewhere around 50 for a shop to just straight pipe it.

It does get a bit of a tinny sound, but I didn't feel like paying that much for something I got for 50 dollars installed. If you want to hear the car click on the auto-x vid in my sig.
If you really want the supersprint part then talk to BMP, I know they have it.

I called BMP yesterday... They no longer carry the front resonator, nor do they carry the aluminum based supersprint mufflers. Only the stainless steel mufflers that require the connecting pipe are available. I asked why they still show all of the mufflers on their website and they said they hadn't updated that page for awhile.
All of the other vendors just drop ship the supersprint mufflers from SupersprintNA(which is BMP). The guy at performance automotive tried to find one for me but was not successful. He had a E30 track car and just recommended the straight pipe.

I didn't know they stopped selling them.
1stbmw!- I think you have the last one in the country cause when I bought it they told me it was the last one for like 6-9 months so they probably just quit carrying it after they sold it to me.

That's cool, hope nothing happens to mine since there isn't another cheap replacement besides straightpiping.
