It looks like it's a remote to control the auxilliary heat.

Is that an engine block heater?
Or a remote interior heater?

i'm guessing remote interior heater. note that its for the 323ti and may not connect up propery to a 318ti. i could look up and send you the install guide from the EBA cd if you want L8.

Sure go ahead. I was on the lookout for any upgrades you might not have.
Did you install the lumbar kit or the heated wiper fluid kit yet? Let me know how it goes.
I'm doing the struts and spring upgrade Saturday.

lol ... it's clex2 you have to try to best, not me :p
i haven't fitted any of the retrofit kits yet. i may not fit any of them to the car until after i get it painted (planning to strip it down for that and i'd just end up removing them again). i would likely not do the seat heat and lumbar options until i get a set of vaders to redo (like you did). i could then do the vaders completely and swap out the originals once they were ready.
i'll see about finding the install pdf and sending them to you.

I just tried for the 3rd time to get Circle BMW to ship me the sunshade retrofit. As in the past, they refuse, due to high damage rate in shipping . I guess I will have to order one and drive to the dealer and get it. Then again, I could just order it from the local dealer.
