Hi Folks,

I've lurked a bit in the past but have just signed up.

I'm in the UK and have owned my 318Ti Sport "Edition" for almost 2 years.

I have kept it fairly standard except some style#135, 18" alloys and a set of xenon projector headlights and a K&N filter.

I also own a 1986 Pontiac Fiero 2.8 V6 sports coupe, mid-engined 2 seater.

Prior to that I had a 1990 TVR S2 as a fun car.

The 318Ti is my daily driver and the Pontiac is currently having some lite restoration.

I have previously owned a 318tds Compact and 2x E34 5 series and a E30 318iS.

Well, that's me and Hi!

Thanks guys and here's more pics for you:-

These are the headlights I have fitted in the Ti. They are xenon projectors. They weren't expensive and have much better light output than the stock units. I will be fitting glass projectors with standard separate white indicators (still have originals) and fitting HID at some point.

This is the TVR I used to have (145mph & 0-60 in 6.5secs)

Hi,

They were a PITA to fit and involved a bit of re-wiring and changing the Ti loom connectors but they do have a good output especially with upgraded xenon charged bulbs. They also have integral angel eyes.

They were £130 inc VAT from here:- http://www.carlamp.com/cart/view_product_detail/874/46/0

Cheers,

I have seen a US version of those lights as well. DOT approved. I really like those lights. Probably same deal with wiring though.

They're not bad, the fit could be better but the light output is very good.

The link I posted is a UK supplier and they are UK E-marked lights (like DOT approved) and they are suitable for RHD cars only but I'm sure another company must sell them for LHD as well.

i think they look good on the ti's though.

Hi Razor,

Thanks for the compliments.

As Dave says, the rims do suit the Ti very well. I spotted another blue Ti the other day near me wearing the same rims and it looked great. I think a white Ti would look great with them too.

Fieros are great cars, good fun and lots of torque at low rpms, Pontiacs have never been sold new in the UK so they're a pretty rare sight in UK. They have a bit of a cult following in the States these days.

Does your uncle browse here:- http://www.fiero.nl/cgi-bin/fiero/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro&BypassCookie=true
