What's up! i'm looking for some opinions to see if this is a good price for a 1998 TI. I don't have much info besides what is written in the listing but the mileage is good and it probably lived through some winters.

Looks like a stock compact and not a Sport to me.

Looks like base spec too:-

No M-tech bumpers, no front fogs, no alloys (has steel wheels and covers), no M-tech flat side body strips. So it won't have sports seats and the M-tech leather steering wheel, gear knob, e-brake or the anthracite headlining.

As a guide, I paid about the same for my 1999 Ti Sport with similar miles about 18 months ago. As a plus, if it is described as a 1.9 then it should have the much nicer and later M44 engine.

In the US and probably Canada this would be the base model.
All you really need are some nicer wheels.

This is what my car looked like the day I bought it. It was a stock 1998 model. I paid $10,500 for it with only 31K miles on it. That was back in August of 2004. Leather interior and heated seats were the only factory options it came with.
