Colored Waxes

I don't have a specific product in mind, but over the years I've seen various colored waxes on the market. E.g., red wax to be used on red paint, etc.

Does anyone have experience with that sort of thing, especially on a black car?

I haven't heard of different colored waxes for different colored cars...
I just go and use any wax that I like...
You wouldn't even have to worry about your paint because I think that your car's paint is like mine...and it SHOULD have a clearcoat on it (Schwarz II)...

i use the turtle wax for black cars and it really helps conceal the dings and such. i use that and Zymol.

the guy i bought my car from used blue wax on it just before i picked it up (its montreal blue) and i just found it annoying as loads of little bits of blue wax got stuck around the edges of the badges, seals etc. and it didnt seem to make the finish any better.

I recently put some on mine and it came with a "chipstick" looked like lipstick. It really helped to cover up my dings and stuff. I think it worked really well. I used Turtle Wax. I also have Schratch X from McGuires which i havent tried yet

I use the black Turtle wax and it does a pretty good job - I usually wax over top of that with Meguirs Tech

What I find that works extremly well is "CAJUN SHINE ALL". I used it on my mother's black XJ Super V8 Jaguar and I got all the swirls out and made the car look shiny like it come right of the showroom floor. Thats good stuff. Its a wax/polish/protectant that you can use to clean your car without soap and water and you can use it on glass, chrome, plastic, vinyl and rubber. It easy to get off too. You dont have to keep buffing to get the film off like most wax and polishes. It helps repel dust off your car and water beads off so you dont be left with water spots after it rains or gets wet. here is a link to the product website.
