Hi,

I just got back from the auto-x down in Walesboro, IN. It was a pretty good time. I got in a total of three runs, but I had to stop due to mechanical problems. (some sensor I think) car throws a CEL and won't idle without stalling. Other than that it was a great time. I also got to show of some of my new stickers:biggrin:

If you end up needing a hand, I'll be in Muncie this weekend finishing the painting process on my M-Tech spoiler. I'll have some time available Sunday.

The runs before that went really well. I have some videos I am going to try to put up on google video if I can figure out how to get them off the camcorder and onto my computer.

Thank you to Steven for supplying the 318ti.org stickers.

Thank you, but I got my car back to vaughn motorwerks in Indy. I have no idea how or where to start looking for this problem. My guess is that it is some sensor. Symptoms are that the car won't idle. Runs very rich. On the way back I manage dot actually shoot a couple flames:biggrin:. That was at least entertaining. The car runs poorly in the low RPM range. Throttle is like and on off switch.

Strange sideffect--the car is much faster.

Ok car is now fixed. The problem was that two vaccum hoses connected to the throttle body and idle control valve had split from old age/oil blow-by/strees/moisture/heat. I couldn't see them because they were actually on the underside of the intake manifold.

Cool, it was a fun drive though and I agree, it moved insanely fast when it didn't die.....oh yeah, andy....the focus just threw a cel today, maybe we did abuse the cars down there.....hahahahahaha
