Hi all,

I'm proposing a DTM movie night on friday 6/16/06 on the opening night of The Fast and the Furious, Tokyo Drift. I know some of you are gonna flame :) , but lets use this as an excuse to come out and GTG. From all of the requests I received, I was able to narrow down 3 major theatres as our choices to go to.

At the end of next weekend, we will tally the polls and pick a time to go to. I highly recommend a time between 7PM-9PM movie time, which leaves enough time if anyone have an idea for a post GTG outing.

I'm going for the local meet. The movie is for entertainment.

Looks to be a really good euro turnout so far. We'll have to wait and see. I'll post pics if no one here goes.

The ricers won't look at me or mess with me when i'm driving. Kind of sad really.

damn dusten, that was exactly the reason why I wanted to go watch the movie. just to quote the stupid lines! hey w3fl3x, I guess I'm down but that's depending on where it's located. I really don't want to drive that far just to watch a movie I really don't care much about.

I've seen TF&TF, as well as 2F2F in theatres. Mainly for comedic value, maybe a 'lil bit for Jordana Brewster.

I've also seen Torque and Biker Boyz, but that's because I'm an idiot. They were horrible, but at least it was DVD.

It's a bit of a further drive but i'll still be going.

Supposedly there's a really big parking lot and the theatre seating is really nice and spacious there. Never been there before.

update:

Movie time: 8:00PM @ Alderwood Mall.

Please plan to be there at 6:00PM as we will try to reserve spots in the parking lot and stand-in the line for the Movie. Since this is the first opening day of the Movie, there is a big chance that it may sell-out, you can get your tix at Fandango a head of time.

Im not boycotting it, Im just saying that it causes every kid with a honda to become a complete idiot for about 6 months. Im probably going to see it, I own the first two, even though Im never going to watch the second one again because of what happened to that ti. What you said ealier is true and is why I am going to see it.

I went and saw the movie last night (for free). Some of the driving was hilarious. For when they drift 'raced' and when they were running from some yakuza they were drifting all over the place. I guess it is obviously because sliding the car everywhere and spinning the tires is the fastest way anywhere right.:help:

Oh man seeing that fart can on that muscle car at the end of the movie :eek: Other than that the movie had its moments but was really cheesy in some parts, the little cameo appearence at the end was cool.

I just saw the movie monday night. It was much better then I expected, and was better then the first two. Im not sure that they could have fit any more hot chicks into that movie. The only bad part was that they wrecked literally every car in the movie. Dose anyone know what kind of car han drove, it was the orange and black one that blew up.
