Found this, it's hella cheap..but what does everyone think?

some pretty big claims ex) "Our system is based on a bolt on Eaton Roots displacement supercharger that increases the power of the 1.9l BMW M44 motor from 119rwhp to a powerful 214rwhp all while maintaining the drive and feel of your BMW that you love."

uhh..? haha

input plzzzz

that's the midnight autoworks supercharger... ask FATHER about his experience with them. Also check out the threads about them in the FI section of the board...

I certainly wouldn't use that kit after what Father had to go through. Although he did get it working. The extra 900$ you will pay for a DASC will get you the proper mounts, instructions, higher quality parts, the right parts the first time around, and support from a great racing fabricator(Downing Atlanta).

If you don't mind having to build your own mounts, and don't mind figuring things out yourself then that extra 900$ may not be worth it to you. Although we have yet to see what Father's car can do on a dyno, or how well that system holds up in the longrun.

Father had major problems getting the blower from those guys. MA claimed it was because it was going international and they had customs problems, but I am pretty sure you don't have to clear customs going to Puerto Rico.

also remember that something caught fire on FATHER's car. I'd avoid these guys. Either buy a DASC, build your own custom setup, or wait for SEAM.

I was beginning to wonder if this was the set rig that FATHER had going on, thanks for letting me know guys. a mod can kill the thread, if they like.

There was a cardboard S/C online that would've been a better deal than this scrap metal.

i was wondering about that ... just hadn't had time to go and confirm it. they do that with everybody who buys their kit ... unbelievable. too bad they didn't have pics of the fire to go along with it ... or the misalignment of the pulley ... or the lack of support bracket ... or ...

Thats cause he's the only customer that's actually sent a picture back to them.

he sent the pic's to MA or did MA get the pics from this site

if your friends with a fabricator you can have a custom supercharger
I built my own turbo manifold bought a 20g turbo rebuilt for $200 manifold about $140
still have a lot of work but you can have one made or even better the DASC
