Nice, clubsport i assume? Very nice. I have the active model i think. i love the interior on the clubsports with the whole red/black coloring

That looks to be a sport, unless someone changed the mirrors.

You don't have an active unless you changed the front bumper. If you had an active you would have a front bumper like this http://www.318ti.org/gallery/data/500/TI30-Cowling-BMW318-1.jpg

There's a thread on here somewhere where i asked what model i had. The guy that sold it to me said it was a sport but everyone disagrees and says its an active. It has the Mtech front bumper but not the rear. It also has cruise control which if im correct, means its an active or somethin other than a sport. *shrugs* idk, its my bimmer and its gonna be what i make it.lol

If my Ti wasn't currently over heating I'd totally head up. Let me know if you do this again.

Have you figured out why your TI is overheating? I just had the same problem and then the thermostat closed...got a new one and all better.

I replaced the thermostat recently, although the replacement could be bad.

From the experiements I've been running, I think its the gauge sensor in the head giving me bad readings. When I go to start it in the morning, the gauge isn't all the way down, its actually just above the blue area. While the ignition is on, but with the engine off, I can return the needle to the left by unplugging and reconnecting the connector on the sensor.

It also indicates that the engine is at normal operating temperatures in less than a mile of driving, so somethings afoot.

For $29.00, its worth the effort to change it. Although its not doing any good sitting in my cup holder... (Damn school)

I'm going to throw that in, and a new thermostat tonight and see what happens in the morning.

I will attend if I can. Tuesday may not be so good, but let me know the date and time and if work does not interfere I will be there. I am right here in Frogtown so it would be easy for me to join the party. It will give me an excuse to clean it up a little. I am usually beating the crap out of my car - I owe it a little TLC.

Just found this post! T-Town Ti's FTW!!

I might be able to make it Friday depending on the time. I should be arriving at the airport around 6:00 or so.

It looks like there's several Ti's in the area that I wasn't aware of. . . . we should all run the Oct 1 autocross in Fostoria!

Well, we didnt have a big turn out due to the last minute notices and changes in time. So for yesterday, there was me and the guy hosting the shoot  . We already have about an hour of video footage and some pics with my camera, hopefully today and tomorrow wont be as bad.

On the way out to the meet, a driver in front of me ran over some rubber and flung it into my car. About 2 minuted later, i hear *clunk*, look in my rearview, and see chunks of plastic debris flying everywhere...mind you, im on the highway in heavy traffic at about 80-85 mph...so i have no time to pull over and check to see what came off. I get to the meet and check everything out and couldnt find out what came off. Then i stood back and stared at the car for a moment...Brake ducts *check*, sidemarkers *check*, Mesh grille *check*, Kidneys *che.....* where the hell is my passenger side kidney??? Yup, the rubber smacked my kidney loose, and i ran it over. Took the other one out for asthetic reason and anger, but its all good, gives me a reason to buy either some black ones or the carbon fiber ones.

Heres a couple of pics.

Got some of the video footage from the 2 car meet here in toledo that no one could make it to http://images.bimmerforums.com/smilies/frown.gif. Nuthin fancy though. The film was for a college photography class so its only a minute long, but we have like 4 hours worth of film. Enjoy.

PS. ill post some of the "better" footage once i get the files from my friend.
