Does anybody know of a vendor that sells both the 14mm allen socket needed to remove the differential drain/fill plugs and crush washers? I've checked all of the local hardware stores in my area and nobody has a 14mm allen key or socket. I've found places that sell these items, but not both of them together. I would hate to have to pay shipping on some cheap washers.
I may even end up going to the dealer and buying them there just to save shipping cost on cheap parts, and a cheap tool.

got a set of three allens at autozone i believe, including the 14mm. if you go to the dealer for the crush washers for the diff drain/fill, they might even give them to you they're so cheap. if not, buy like 10 of them to make it worth your while.

I didn't check autozone or advanced auto. I'll have to do that.. I thought for sure sears would have had it, but they didn't.

I got a set from sears (for home), and a set for my car toolbox from autozone in socket form.

I'm doin' the diff swap tomorrow. I looked at the drain plugs for the M-coupe cover, seems they have o-rings in the plug. That may explain why I can't find the washers.

I just found a pretty unique way to pull the differential plugs. I was sorting through a container of parts, and the bracket for my cb antenna seemed to be about the same size as my 14mm socket.
Actually, it's a perfect fit. Here's the part you want to look for; just throw it in a standard 14mm socket and you're set.

I got a 14mm socket at a local Mom&Pop hardware store.

.37 cent shipping on the diff washers?(they will fit in a standard letter)

They'll fit in an envelope no problem.
Advice during the fluid change; wait for the differential to cool down before you torque down the bolts. You can put them in and hand tighten, but as long as the metal is hot you can damage the threads.
Also, that part for the antenna is about $3 at any truck stop.

Could I ask what size/spec to look for for the crush washer?.. Part # or where to buy?

Try your dealer.
On a part like a washer, after you factor in shipping you're going to probably pay several times over what it costs.
Generally it's a good idea to go elsewhere when you're shopping for bulk parts, electronics or high ticket items. The dealer is best for getting nick-nacks, like plastic fasteners, washers and bolts.
