Forum upgrade August 6, 2006

An upgrade is planned for Sunday, August 6.
The forum will be closed until the upgrade is complete.
With the upgrade will come some new options.
Signature options, better image uploading, infraction system (maybe),
multiple quotes, better messaging and much more.

Usually I can update the forum in 10 minutes.
Then I need to add the left column which takes an additional 10 minutes.
Then there are addons that may need to be updated.
That may take a little more time.
I would guess unless I make a big mistake, no more than an hour.
I could do it now but would rather do it when I'm wide awake. :biggrin:

I completely deleted the home page boxes. I hope I remember how to do it again. I still need to revert some of the templates to make some new features work. It's going to take a couple days.

The last version did not other than on or off.
I just need to read up on it a bit.

Edit: I'm changing it back to 500. 1000 is too much.

What's the big deal about 1000 characters in the signature? The signature is a very important item. It allows others to see what you have, and share info.

It should be 1000 now with a limit of 5 lines for new signature.
Edit: I'm changing it back to 500. 1000 is too much.

There is a problem with the sigs. I can't even remove stuff without it saying I have exceeded my 5 line maximum.
