Here are some fresh pictures in my gallery from this morning August 20. It's was a really small 318ti meeting (just 3 cars) but it was fun. The location is the closed air base in South Weymouth, MA at Mazda zoom-zoom event. Enjoy...

EDIT Sept 3:
Ok the meet is done! It was a little rainy but almost everybody showed up and it was fun. I'll make a new thread soon with a lot of pictures and videos from the meet. We had 8 ti's parked inline, some drifts and donuts, and a lot of curious locals turning heads and stopping their cars to see what is going on :smile: The meet was MUST SEE! I hope we can get together more people next time, including Taylor and NewEnglandBoy

Thanks for posting the picture. Nice to meet you and s_control at the Mazda Driving Event. Both of us are impressed with the modification work you've done to your ti. Amazing to see how you got all the parts from ebay.
Looking forward to have another meeting probably in Braintree, MA in near future. Would like meet stealthbimmer, Tyler, Juni, and others in this forum.

It was a pleasure and fun for me too. I hope next time we can get more 318ti's together. What go you guys think about Sunday 3 September at Bugaboo Creek House Restaurant around 1pm? If i can make it i'll try,i normally work in wayland,ma till 1 on saturday & sundays. I personally would rather work right now since i'm going on vaca in a montha nd any extra $$ i get will be a plus. I'll keep you posted though.

CptnNemo should come too. Even none of us are selling our ti (Juni got to keep his!), we can show CptnNemo what to look for when buying one, hope this will help him find the best ti on the market, even though not many are on sale in MA.

Yeah I am gonna message him so he can stop by. I sent messages to all people that I saw on the map around. Juni said he will be there. Can ask your friend s_control if he can join the meet too?
BTW Tyler said the will be probaly working the weekend but he is gonna tell us later if he can come or not

Okay next weekend sounds good to me! I will be there to meet the other members. I'm always around the Quincy area visiting friends. Finally got the NE forum to liven up. :)

I cross my fingers for you, we all definitely gotta see your car. I think your ti is one of the best looking at 318ti.org

I don't know if I can make it or not guys. I am probably going to be 1) Helping my girlfriend finish her move or 2) Driving to NJ to see a ti. If I'm doing neither than I'll be there taking advice from you guys. Maybe on of you can teach me to drive a stick ;) hahaha. Good Luck.

Do you need all our ti to help your gf move? Hatchback comes in handy. Also, you will see so many ti in one place at the Braintree Meet, rather than driving 4 hours to see only one in NJ.

tol40 and myself will be checking out the area locally for a covered garage as a back up location. We can have a meet there then go to Bugaboo Creek for food and drinks! :biggrin: I will keep everybody posted. Just need to drive around the area tonight after work.

It is so sunny today. I hope the weather is going to hold through the weekend. Well, it was raining during the last meet in Weymouth and we still manage to take some pictures.

No need to travel so far. I've found a 318ti for you locally. Here is the link to the nice ti. Check it out and see if it's worth your while. I would even consider buying this if I didn't have a few cars already. ;)

Hi tol40, any luck finding an alternative site for the meet just in case it rains? The news said it might shower in the morning then clear up by 2pm or so. :)

The Braintree T station (right down the street from bugaboo) does have a covered garage that is pay-for-parking on the "honor system". In otherwords, its free. Another place would be the South Shore Plaza parking garages. Those garages get crowded, but the one near Sears and Old Macy's is good, because Macy's moved and there is no store or usable entrance for half the garage. Maybe not enough room for me to practice using a stick though. Quincy center has a parking garage right near a few sports bars and the DMV (rougher area).

Oh...I am not cleaning my golf for you guys. Additionally, does anyone that is attending the meeting have one of those single DIN cages that goes around a radio for installation in alot of euro cars? I broke mine getting it out last time.

Hey...i'ts 10:26 AM saturday...and it's Raining. :) I'm going to be a meteorologist someday. So I take it we're at the South Shore Plaza? Just to make everyone less confused, there are two parking garages to the plaza, one of them is located by the Pub 99, Rock Bottom, Legal Seafood, BOA. This is not the garage I am speaking about. If you keep going around the Plaza, there is a garage near Sears and the Old Macy's. It looks older, and hopefully with fewer cars. I figured this would be a better spot. Can anyone pvt. message a cell phone so we can all get on the same page at some point?
