my name is chris. ive owned an e30 in the past but just recently picked up my new project ti. i only have about a month and a half to work on it because im leaving for the army again on jan 3rd. it should certainly have some goodies on it by then.

hahaha... nice, but what about Supercharging? There's the DASC which is popular. The reason Turbocharging isn't too popular is the low availability of manifolds as far as I know.

a manifold is being fabricated for me as we speak. should be done in a week or two

What kind of tuning are you going to use? I think tuning is the bigger issue than being able to find a manifold.

im using autronic sm2, siemens 750cc injectors, msd digi dis-4 iginition and msd blaster coils. gonna make some big parrr

I'm guessing this is for the i6 swapped car that you have? Why are you going with a custom manifold when several companies make turbo manifolds for the m52..

I am amazed by the amount of people on this forum that are "building a turbo" for their car. I've personally never seen ANY proof that one has been completed....

yeah, I'm with you, I'd like to see one completed and dyno-ed for comparisons.

DASC and engine swapping is just too easy around here.
