Grinding Sounds Coming from Tranny

Lately I have been hereing a grinding nosie off and on from the transmission that is directly related to the speed I'm going. This doesn't happen all the time though.Just when it is really cold out. After looking at everything under the car and in the wheels, I'm thinking that the throw out bearing on my clutch is on its way out. Just wondering if anyone has replaced it themselves; And if i'm in there I'm just going to replace everything. Is there a better clutch for the ti's or sometype of upgrades that you can do. Or is a oem clutch the way to go?

Usually the throw-out bearing will only make noise when the clutch pedal is pressed.

Also how do you tell if you have the twin mass fly wheel vs not???
