I read the faq, and don't think it specified.

If you get the DASC, you need new ECU, right?
If you get the car tuned but then get a smaller pulley to push like 10psi, do you need a new ecu again?

Oh and while Im at it, I know what the differences between the m44, and m42, but how do you identify one from the other?

Ok, if you have a DASC NOT need a new ecu.
If you run a smaller pulley to push like 10-12psi you NEED to have more fuel, you use a fuela management like Comander III, NickG stage III, Apexi, and much others, but the oem ecu not need to change.

The two motors have much differences one m42 is ODBI , the m44 is OBDII, also the m42 is 19?? to 1995( ithink ) and m44 is 1995 and up.

M42 is first and second m44
