My 95 sport's diff is making a shhhh noise, i think i've killed it. oops.

Found a 3.64 LSD for sale for £245.00. Also an e30 M3 LSD 3.25 for £325. which would be better? i would presume the 3.64 as i would gain acceleration, but the m3 LSD might provide better handling? i dont know.

I would love to hear some ti owner's opinions.

also, would the rack in the advert be any good for a ti. I was planning to do a z3 rack swap next year.

e24 3.46 is better IMO, but with the 4cyl the 3.64 will not be too bad. More civil on the highway than the 3.73.

i've tried looking for a 3.45/3.46 LSD, but they are quite rare, havn't found a single one for sale in the uk. do you know what model they were off?
i've found m coupe/roadster diff's for sale, would they mate to a stock and 6swapped ti? as i plan to do this in march next year.

I was running a 3.64 LSD diff for a bit with my 4 cyl. It was amazingly quick through the gears but a little high on the RPMs on the highway (4000 @ 80mph).

I removed it when I went to the M50.

My 3.64 is available if you want it. $200.

You probably don't want the 3.25 because of price and the fact that it is a taller ratio than a stock US 318ti (don't know about UK tho.) Go for the 3.64. It'll give you better acceleration and LS.
