LSD HELP

Hey guys, I'm new to the thread and just bought myself a helrot 97 318ti. I was wondering if i can fit a 95 m3 lsd in my car. If yes, any mod or extra parts needed (output shafts, drive shafts)?

As far as I know, E36 diffs don't fit because of the difference in rear end between the ti and the standard e36.
