My first 318 ti, a 1996 Boston Green/grey interior baby. Not my first BMW, previously a 1974 Inka 2002 and a 2002 325 ci. I think this ti is my favorite, none of the lethargy of the slushbox 325, and none of the carb/old car anguish of the 02. Don't get me wrong, the others were great cars but there is something about that perky butt of the ti and the lightness (ala lotus) that gives it such toss-ability. It's just got me hooked. Its kind of neat being the underdog of the E36 range because the understated cache' associated with the brand but without all of the expectation of status.:cool:
