would rather have a quaife, but it seems you need a gb to get one now which would be a pita...

Guys is this LSD unit suitable for our diifs? i have the standard small case diff, same with 318ti. I would be really interested in that price range! Does anyone know that company? What is your opinion?

I suspect its a custom Detroit true-trak. Similar design to a Quaife, or Thorsen/Gleason unit. Not bad units.
Most rear ends use the same guts with different ring and pinion
sets. So if its designed for a small case housing should fit. Buy a open diff in the ratio you like and have a shop swap the carrier from open to the LSD.

Tip, find a shop that does a lot of axle gear work, either race or 4 wheel drive or rally shop...

You are bidding on an OBX Racing Sports Helical Limited Slip Differential for the BMW 325i (E30, E36), 525-535i (E28, E34), 633-635csi, 735i. (Part #N/A). Brand new and still sealed in box. Also comes with a lifetime warranty from manufacturer defects. Why pay more elsewhere when you can buy it now for $395

sounds like it works with a 188mm case, I don't know if it can go into a 168mm small diff.

Do you guys know of any other diff options? I really don't want a VLSD so that means OE bmw LSDs are all out.

I'd like a helical or torsen because they offer the handling I want, but a 1 or 1.5way clutch type would be alright too. Seems like it's near impossible to find some performance parts for the 318ti other than DASC and lowering springs :-/. I love the car, but my options are limited if I buy one...

I'm sure diffsonline.com can build whatever you want for the right price.

The price is on par with the true-trak I had in my jeep.

$395US for the unit and a good rear end shop should install it for the
price of the shim/seal kit + a couple hours labor.

Does anybody know the locking percentage of this unit?
