Green Death Machine in track mode. Built this one 6-7 years ago and used it to learn first auto-Xing and then graduated to the big track and got several competition licenses with it. Suspension completely redone down to the last nut and bolt and a very happy tweaked street motor. It is now my street car.

My Z I built a couple years ago and sold last year to some guy that fell in love with it at the track (it wasn't for sale...) GT motor.... in it's final trim one SERIOUSLY smokin car. Now it's even faster--largely because the dude that bought it is a better driver than me! And yes, this pic was snapped a right as I was slingshotting by this beautiful Porsche out of a turn.

My 944-SPEC car I built last year and am currently racing. Class win the last 4 consecutive events.

Green Death Machine in street mode. After I retired it, it got complete interior re-upholstery and it is a very fun weekend car. Racing really beats things up, but this car is a trooper. It still misses the track. That poor little thing has been to 8000 so many times and just screams and begs for more. Don't have the heart to sell it.

My current project. Full fibreglas, almost a tube-frame, GT5 car with log books back into the 70's. It is a 72 Datsun 1200. Kinda rare in the states. There is one other 1200 racing half-heartedly on the West coast. It had a lot of years of deferred maintenance and is undergoing a full re-fitting. Cute little 4-cylinder pushrod motor. ITS motor is maybe 70hp and my GT motor is good for 120 or so and runs to 10,000. Car weighs about 1200lbs.

Sweet cars. I got a feeling that if you put half of the time into your Ti that you put into the Datsun/Nissans, you'll have one AWESOME Bimmer! Keep us posted!

Nah... I aint touchin it. I bought it because I wanted a fun car with a back seat. It is NOT getting gutted. It is a weekend roadtrip car--so that kinda rules out going crazy with the suspension too. It's my only car with a radio!!! If I want to feel every nook and cranny of the road, not be able to hear the passenger shout above about 2500 and have no A/C, heat, defrost or wipers and basically have no woman--including my ex-wives--ever to ride with me, I'LL TAKE THE Z! So I'm not doing ANYTHING to it. OK... exhaust, and intake, maybe wheels and tires and strut braces and a chip and perhaps a couple eensy-weensy bits of urethane underneath here and there might not hurt.....
