Since I've bought the car in july 2006, i've been slowly upgraded my car. First thing I did was the bosal catback exhaust, then I did a short ram/ modified cold air intake, then I got the dinan software upgrade. I just finished ordering some H & R springs, 1.4" front 1" rear, and im so excited.... sorry I just had to vent.

And for some icing on the cake, I've been at discount tire for about 2 years, one of our for life customers, gave me his replica M5 wheels for free. I can't explain how excited I am right now! lol thanks for reading, I'll get pictures up when I install the springs and the M5 wheels.

Will the M5 wheels even fit? And did you get shocks to go with your springs?

And stay at discount tire because if you drive as much as I do, you'll be going through tires every 6 months. I have the H&R sport/Bilstein Sports too, now my camber is really bad in the front and the back, sooooo I have to buy camber plates to fix it.

Not to be a party pooper though, it sounds like you love your car, I just feel like I should warn you.

They arent actual M5 wheels, their replicas. The M5 ones have a different offset, but both the replica and my aftermarket wheels have the 42mm offset, so they fit like a glove. And I've already researched the springs and shocks situation, and with these new springs my camber will not be thrown off by themselves, but if i were putting new shocks in too then i would need to get camber plates. But ya here are some before pics w/out the shocks, and the m5 wheels.

is it true with h&r springs/sport shock combo you need camber plates??? :?

How much did the springs for the front and rear cost?
and does that size springs make your car till fenders flares are just above the tire?

Nice to hear about your upgrades.

If you drop the car 1 to 1.5 inches all the way around you will add more negative camber, which will negatively impact the life expectancy of your tires. You will need some type of camber correction if you run lowering springs and you want stock camber.

honestly tires are not a concern of mine since i go through them about every 6 months, and to the question posted above, the springs cost'd 240 somethin after shipping from tirerack.com
