What is the absolute best cold air intakes? Based on performance gains, sound and quality. I understand the K&N isn't good because of the fact it sucks in hot air and the cosmo seams to be the best so far. Any opinions would be awesome. It is the exact same thing, they just have an ebay store as well.

What is your definition of a good CAI? They are all just about the same, an aluminum pipe with a filter. No matter what you get the sound and gain will be the same.

if your willing to spend the extra buck, i think the bav auto carbon fiber cold air intake is the best bet.

If you have an m42 it won't fit without an adapter plate.

luckily im equipped with the m44 engine. Viper, thanks for letting the others know about the fitment issue with the m42's

i go for cosmo but this has been discussed before...there arent too many ways to totally screw up an intake....its a pipe with a filter as been previously stated...

my personaly intake was a modified cosmo intake which you can read about in this section ... i think its the best personally...

Just looked at Dinan- I thought they still offered a CAI for the M44 but I don't see it. Looks like I may have a collectors item in there?

Last I heard was that they discontinued it along with their CF intakes.
