Hey guys, it looks like I might be in Boston on Monday 7/2 and Tuesday 7/3. I'm not 100% sure, but if I can make it, does anyone want to meet up? I'll have the ti with me. I don't know the area too well but we should all get together for a few minutes or something.

I have the 4th and 5th off (already have family plans for the 4th though), if you want to meet on teh 5th, I can make it then. With it originally being today and tomorrow, I couldn't make it. Getting my car back today after some engine problems last weekend at an autocross.

Where are you staying at? Close to Boston? Are you coming up to Boston for school searching? Sure give us an update and contact infos. It would be cool to meet up a NJ member. I met L8 at our last MA ti meet.

Feel free to ask and we can provide you with some infos on places to eat and visit during your stay in MASS.

Maybe we can round up some ti members and have a little photo shoot too. ;) BTW you guys are welcome to join me at a local car gathering up in Burlington mall Thursday night if you want. Let's see what is everyone's schedule.
I work Thursday night from 4-10 :frown: Burlington Mall isn't that far away from me either

I can try to swap nights with someone else to make it on Thurs (hopefully). BTW, what time is that local meet?

Pnosker, are you leaving on Thursday night or Friday morning?

I also forgot to mention, I was on I-195/I-90 driving towards Boston from the Cape and this boston green 318ti with mass plates and a cali top were near each other. Woman driver. I'm pretty sure it was 1997+ because it had headrests and body colored sideskirts. Anyone know her?

I could be up for Thurs morning meet, maybe over breakfast somewhere? Even if it's just an IHOP or Bickfords. There's an IHOP right off of 128 in Randolph, which is right near the Rt 3 split: check here (http://ihop.know-where.com/ihop/cgi/site?site=04706&address=).

The Blue Hills Reservation is adjacent to there, and we could do a quick drive through there for pics a few twisties.

I'm about 50 minutes from this place, but it's 20-25 minutes from Boston

Sorry I PMed larryn that I can't meet up in the morning... have to work but I can come out at night. :wink: You should go check out the Charles River firework show tonight along Storrow Drive. Leave the ti at home. Fireworks start at 10:30pm. http://www.july4th.org/

FYI the car meet Thursday night is open to everyone even though it was organized by the local Maxima group. It's at Burlington Mall starting 5:30-6pm located on the Sears store parking lot side. Come check out all kind of rides and customized ones too.

Hey guys coming to the meet: we'll need to eat quickly and go over stuff as quickly as possible. I've got to get out of here by noon. Sorry. Also a CEL went on (I just had one for the Pre-cat O2 sensor which I replaced) and was worried... if anyone has a Peake Code Reader and wouldn't mind bringing it, please do. I'd like to make sure it's not something that will prohibit me going home.

Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet up. Go to any Autozone and they can scan/reset it for you. Have a safe drive home! Maybe we can meet up another time when you're back up here.

Met up with Mikel and pnosker for breakfast, a great drive, and some photo ops. Good time! I managed to take a few out the Cali Roof on the drive that actually came out, and some from a few different places we stopped.

Yep it was a fun time guys, thanks for making me feel at home in Mass. Here are my pics.

BTW the code was for the Pre-cat O2 sensor I just replaced, I wonder why I'm still getting the code. I cleared it and it hasn't come back though.

We had a good time and you guys took some great pics. I didn't realize the pictures I were taking were coming out over exposed and way too light :redface:. I had to use photoshop heavily to save them. Let me know if you want any full size pictures.

Great pics guys!! I had fun, and met some good folk. I wish we had a longer route to go on, but the Blue Hills did have some nice twisties.

Oh ... I missed all the fun. That stretch of road in Blue Hills is only 5 minutes from where I live in Quincy MA. I always play around in those twisty roads. However, there is always a state trooper hiding near the reservoir downhill straight. Probably he can recognise my ti already. Glad that he did not give you guys trouble. I was out on vacation and miss this whole meeting. Well, maybe next time. Nice pictures.
