Has anyone replaced the coolant line that comes out of the firewall from the heater core? During my engine removal, i somehow missed this hose and ended up breaking it when i pulled the engine out. The real question is, do i need to tear into the dash, which has to be a PITA, to get to this connector? I can only assume so, but i thought id ask.

Top right, next to the brake booster.

I believe you can get to that fairly easy by taking off the bulkhead plenum grill at the base of the windshield.

There should be few screws on the black plate under the plenum, that allow you to get to the blower motor and that hose connection.
