Spectacular!! :D

What's the switch just to the rear of the hazard button? Relocated sunroof switch I assume? EDIT: I see your other post now. Great idea! I hate the normal location.

USB cable is for an MP3 Player? GPS? PDA? I see the little holder there suctioned to your windshield. Looks nice, I love that interior +1 on the red stitching

Great job on the detailing! We need more shots of that beautiful interior. What exhaust do you have? I agree that you can use a bigger spoiler to show that sexy back!

Exhaust is an original Eberspacher with a Schnitzer tip.

Ill be upgrading to something with a bit more grunt, but keeping the tip as its a nice detail with the wheels ;)

The acs spoiler is v. nice, but not for me ;)

Wow man i wish my paint shined like that! What wax did you use? For the exterior and interior? Also did you use a buffer or do it by hand? Nice clean car i like it. Oh ey mallard did you ever get around to fogging your airbox?? I remember us collaborating on the issue lol

clean ride mallard. i see you deleted the rear wiper and antenna - i've been wanting to do that for a while... what did you end up doing w/ the wiper hardware and wiring? did you relocate your antenna or is it gone? i'd like to delete the trunk/boot lock if it's possible and just use a remote release - any info on that? i figured you looked into it

In Europe we've got the antenna in the rear window :D
Its just a little wire, just like the window heater, it really looks better than the stick on the trunk ;)

Maybe you can buy a European rear window ?!

thanks lads :)

the rear window delete is factory as far as i know

the rear window has the built in antenna and booster in the hatch pannel.

I never did get about to doing the fogging of the box :(

I do want to do it, but i wont start on it untill i get all the parts to do it propper ;)

Thanks again for all the nice comments, she is my pride and joy :D

wiper delete was factory too? interesting. what yr?

i'm guessing the antenna is integrated with the rear defroster lines? OR is there a separate antenna wire on the hatch?

would you (or jeroen) plz do me a favor and take some pics of the antenna assembly and rear windshield the next time you get a chance? ty

i have the parts to fogg my airbox, but i wanted to look into a more stock looking option before i started hackin away. i know most people make a new 4" hole in the front for ti's, but i'd like to open up the existing one and route hose in a fashion similar to the stock setup.

sorry :icon_redf

i used,

sonax gloss shampoo
3M finnesse it
Sonax stage 2 wax

wash and finnese by hand

use polisher to take the finese off
then wax up and polish by hand

then smooth and finalize with new pad and polisher

--

inside

"strait sil" vynil and intrior spray. great stuff, if a little greasy.

Tyres

"contour" tyre foam, the best ive ever seen. this stuff keeps tyres shining for weeks!!¨

engine

"inotec" detailing spray, in effect a heavy duty version of strait sil, but not as aromatic

thats it i think :)
