Does your girlfriend know you call her and OBC with Burlwood trim?? Haha looks nice man. I love your car. How much of the burlwood did you end up putting in? I see you put the trim around the driver's side vent, what about the passenger's side? All you need now are Motorsport Door handles :) and to reset the Date on your DigiCam :)

I also noticed you removed your ashtray and relocated your 12VDC plug. Do you have a write up of what you did? I'm curious what you did to cover up the hole/cut outs where the ashtray was. Seeing how I don't smoke and don't let others smoke in my car, I could use that extra space.

ATF, i removed my ash tray just like L8...to line the bottom and to cover the holes and cut outs i used a foam padding type stuff covered in black felt by using a glue stick...i stole all the stuff the arts and crafts supply closet at the YMCA that i work at...you can get that stuff at like a wal mart in the fabric section for felt and like arts and crafts type stuff to get the foamy stuff. cut the foam pad to the right size, cover it a few times in felt with a lot of glue sticking glue, and just sit it in the bottom of the tray area....works very nice

For those unfamiliar, that is my girlfriend, not daughter. The Burlwood consists of the left, right and center A/C vents, gauge bezel around headlight/foglight knobs, climate control panel, left side three button panel and glove box trim.

The cigarette lighter and ashtray delete is documented by Ron Stygar on his website. I did that mod when I first got the car. I put a neoprene piece of material to cover up the hole where the ashtray was. Because I love the space too, I didn't want to do the three gauge(oil temp/oil pressure/volts) plate in the ashtray. My wallet, cellphone and glasses fit there nicely.

I installed the rear mudflaps, but still can't get the front ones. Dealer says they are no longer available.

front flaps are NLA? I just got mine a few months ago.....the fronts shouldn't be ti specific...btw- I like flaps, they keep the 'stone throw' down....

What part # did you use? I used the# 82 16 1 470 176 that Ron Stygar lists on his DIY page.



front flaps are NLA? I just got mine a few months ago.....the fronts shouldn't be ti specific...btw- I like flaps, they keep the 'stone throw' down....
