Cams Modification. Can you help me?

Dear Friends,

My engine is a M52, 323Ti E36.

I want to make an upgrade, mod my original cams.

What do you guys recommend me? What I can expect?

Does any one here, outside US ( there´s no 323Ti there) make this?

Get some S52 cams from an M3 engine and a M50 intake manifold from a OBD1 engine and you'll be set to go!

I already bought, M50 intake mainfold, BBTB, Unichip, and gonna make a custom exhaust.

It´s time to start thinking about cams.

M3 cams fits right in my car? Or do I need something extra?

Any idea of what I can expect?

well your engine is an M52 right?? if it is S52 cams should fit right in!

dont know how much HP you get exactly but search different BMW forums and there is a lot of info about it!

It´s an M52, sure! Like yours 323i ( coupe/sedan).

Wich cars uses S52 engine? So i can start searching!

M52 came 2.3 and 2.8

s52 came on the 96+ M3

sadly all Ti's in USA are M42 or M44 1.9L 4 cil

No big problems,

My engine, 2.5 M52, is the same that you can find in E 36 323i ( coupe / sedan), that can be found in USA.

Doc, my car is double vanos, do you think a M3 (S52) cam, will fit?
