heat?!

so i took my TI to bwm and they told me i need a new valve cause the old one isnt allowing water to flow through the pipes, and i need a heat control. bought the parts and my ti to a machine to put in the valve, and i put in the heater control. now the air is slightly warmer then room temp. but not hot at all. do i have to reset something? or is ther something COMPLETELY differnet i havnt got to?

you mean the coolant? i've never done it. i've only had the car since december. and some im not sure what needs to be flushed and what not...but the answer is no. i beleive the machanic said he just did it though

Heater control?
The only thing I recall is the cable popping off the control.

At WOT do you have heat?
You can bleed the air from the cooling system by removing the plug near the overflow and running the engine.
I think it's there. I'm too lazy to go to the car.

lol well i just put the cable on the control. i seriously did that a couple hours ago. but i'll try bleeing it. um i dont know what WOT is?

WOT=Wide Open Throttle
BTW- There was a service bulletin to drill a small hole and secure the cable with a screw.
