hmmm ... salvage flood title. depending on how "flooded" it got, not sure i'd touch it.

ya thats true but a lot of flood cars here in dallas arent to bad, my boss used to work with a lot of them and he would buy and sell them. he said a lot of cars are in great shape and shouldnt even be considered a flood. but interior water damage.

i would check it all out throughly first of course

Dude, that car is TRASHED!!! Lol, The motor and tranny MIGHT be alright if the car wasn't running during the flood and didn't get hydrolocked. I would definitely flush and fill all of the fluids, incase water found it's way in. Is your car OBD1? Because the '95 came with an s50 which is. Besides that, it's a coupe, so none of the body/chassis parts will interchange with the ti except for the front bumper, nose panel and grilles(provided they're not damaged). The front suspension and brakes may work, but again they should be flushed. It sounds like he's taken some parts off to sell separately ie; seats, wheels, exhaust & diff. BTW, the diff is an LSD, however it won't fit on the Ti. E36 coupe and sedan differentials mount differently. You need one from a Z3, Mcoupe, e30 and I think some older 5 series diffs might work. Anyway, if the motor, tranny, ecu, wiring harness, A/C lines, P/S lines, EWS and ignition are included and not damaged from the flood, 500 bucks is a great deal. Otherwise, you're getting a bunch of junk that you can't even use on the Ti.

ya i was just wondering about the diff.

the seats would be nice to have if they were in good shape.

but wasnt concered about anything but the diff.

but that makes me curious now, will the back seat fit in my car?

or just front seats?

rear seats won't fit, besides that, the seatbelts retract from the middle of the seat, not the "C" pillars. I was thinking about removing the leather and using it over my Ti rear seats until I figured that one out. Front seats will fit, but the connectors for the SRS are different and need to be modified. This needs to be done with the battery disconnected, otherwise the airbag light will need to be reset. I would only get seats from a coupe since sedan seats don't have the tilt feature to let passengers climb into the back.

god thinking on the sedan/ coupe tilt info.

and ya i dont know if i want black leather seats if they wouldnt match but they sure are cie seats.

i could have a buddy upholster my seats with leather to match

hmm ill have to do some thinkin, thanks for all the useful info

Third choice(Love the Dove):

And last but not least black, but if you can't afford the complete set of vaders you could always just use the headrests on a set of regular sport seats:

you think 450 would be fair for a excellent set of black leather manual vaders, including rear seats (i would sell the rear seats)

only thing is there is one tiny rip on the seam (seam came apart) and i can have that fixed

450.00 sounds fair.

thought so too.

i wanna see if there is gonna be a way to fit the back seats or not. i will mod it all up if i have to.

we will see and if i canf figure it out i will post a DIY

i was thinking since the seatbelt is in the middle with m3 why couldnt i move the seat belt buckle (part attched to car) to the outsides of the seats on the floor board or well i dono i dont like having people in the back so i could just make a new no passengers but fiance in the front seat! hahahahaha!

and that would also solve my careless brother ruing my seat problem!

damn that guy anyway. (your sloppy brother)
i had a picture in my mind of a rear seat without seat belts all hanging there waiting to be used....and for what? i say the clean look of no seat belts would be sweet. in fact....i might go remove mine right now.
THANKS Midget

Just wondering, in the picture of the custom vaders, what steering wheel is that?! I can never find anything on a three spoke steering wheel, and I dislike the standard four spoke wheel. Anyone?

no worries the thread is pretty much over

but it looks like a non bmw wheel.

buy most m3 wheels if not all have 3 spokes

they are spendy though

so looking over this again i was thinking.

i wonder if he would sell just the head rests. since i now have sport seats..

and also is there any place that you can buy just the vader head rests?

rare to see vader headrests being sold separate from the seats (because anyone looking for vaders wants the headrests with them). you can likely still get them direct from bmw, but they'd be expensive.

thats what i was thinking too.

i have heard of german ebay having more chance of having headrest.

i will just keep looking.
