just found an lsd but need to know if it will work

its a 84 325e 125,000 miles on car 5 speed with a lsd

will it fit and he has the shafts and only wants 125 bucks.

also do you know what gears it has?

ps i did search and i found certain stuff but i just wanna have a for sure answer before i go try and fit it in.

there should be a small metal tag on the diff that lists the ratio and, if it's a LSD, should have an "S" on it as well. i would have the guy check for this tag. if memory serves, it's bolted in with one of the diff cover bolts.

its 2.93 gear ratio so looks like i will be having to do some things to get my acceleratin up and quicker. but better highway cruising is what i wanted!
