Swap everything out or don't swap parts at all...
You should've swapped out the carpet and all the rear panels too so everything matches.
It's like separating brothers and sisters haha...
You'll regret it after your red car is gone and you'll say "damn, I should've gotten the panels too!"

yeah for the most part!

sounds like my quad is pretty much sold and i just found a 325i wrecked for $400! so the red ti should hopefully stay and then motor swap here we come!

looks like all this bad might have just turned to good!

agree with lkwd

swap the whole trim out, otherwise it may look like a kmart special....

seats look good in the green though :)

well all the door panel clips and glue are thrashed on the red one and i have 2 speakers in my door and the red one has 1 speaker in the door.

also the passenger side panel handle is cracked and just not in good shape all my panels in the green car are still intact glue and all.

i also plan on getting vaders from a guy in dallas and they are all black so i needed a black seat in the back otherwise it would ahve looked a lot worse

i c
i thought it looked correct to me...
but then again, what do i know? lol
so Midget...you are keeping the red car now?
what is your brothers stake in this claim?
i say you should keep it...but re-paint the bottom a flat black...or semi flat rather.
just my opinion...which you already know means nothing.
who wants pie?

must have been the spelling correction fairies ...

i agree with tee, a flat or flatish black (to more or less match the look of the trim strips) would look better. glad you're able to keep it!

well it was actually my brothers quad that sold not mine so the car is mostly his but still i have a most say in it. and also were looking for a wrecked e36 to do a motor swap. we found one but never got an email about it. it was only 400 bucks.
so that search continues. and were having the 18's sent from oregon within the next couple days

the longest my brother has ever owned one car is like 1 year. so when he find what he wants next i get the car and i just have to help him with the next car or most likely truck. then we start building a prerunner for our company. that way we can prototype a bunch of prerunner parts to add to our inventory.

are you going to keep the black shinny paint on the bottom of the red ti?

thesk8nmidget
12-06-2007, 03:43 PM
i think were gonna try and find some bumpers and some paint matching or we might paint the moldings gloss black

teetime4one
12-06-2007, 03:45 PM
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
semi-flat Bro
trust me...it'll look much better

thesk8nmidget
12-06-2007, 03:49 PM
we'll see.

the easy way out is painting the parts black but really we wanna remove the sideskirt nasty thick paint stuff.
