Save it for the track. There are plenty of ways to fulfill your need for speed without endangering others. Even driving out on back roads is better then racing through busy streets.

Autocross is not.

And if you want to drag race here in Cali you can also go to Irwindale speedway every thursday night and it only costs like $40.00.

IIRC there is a Cali law that allows confiscation and crushing of your vehicle if you're caught racing on the street, or if your vehicle is used in a street race (you don't need to be behind the wheel).

THAT is expensive if you ask me.

Nigel Guidry, 26, was killed at Sunset Boulevard and Highland Avenue at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday when the 2007 Infiniti he was driving was struck by a BMW suspected of street racing with another BMW on Sunset.

A second male in the Infiniti died of burns Sunday morning.

The driver of the BMW that struck the Infinit, 21-year-old Carlos Steven John, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and murder.

Authorities are still looking for the driver of the other BMW, which left the scene. That motorist could also be charged with murder.

that would have to be one of the worst ways to go. hopefully they're in a better place now.

likely racing after drinking ... great idea.

dumb-dumb-dumb
the dude who took off probably stole the car in the first place...they'll have a hard time finding him if that's the case.
stories like this make me sad...
