I have for sale a pair of projector headlights. These headlights have a purple projector lens and also including HIDs to go with it. The HIDs are one of the best brand there is XTEC. The temperature is 6000k. Everything still works perfectly. The bulbs for the HIDs are already installed into the headlights. I really would like someone to pick up locally but will ship at buyers expense. I'm asking $150 for both headlights and HIDs included. Thanks for looking.

Wow.. these are REALLY nice... Do you have any pictures of how your car looks with them during the day? I wanna upgrade the stock ones on my Ti.. and I'm looking into the one piece for head/corner lights. Where did you buy these originally from? I would volunteer to buy them.. but it seems I'm at the bottom of the list.. :(

Ive held these lights twice already and those two ppl flaked on me. Most likely i wont have a buyer so they're yours. If i get a buyer though, i might just let them go. I dont have anyone wanting to buy these right now though so your good right now.

elchicano318ti

you could find them on ebay. I would rather go with some DEPOs as i had a similar set up and I like the DEPOs way better. Also compared to how much they run for it's better to get the DEPOs.

I'm not trying to hate but DEPOs are mentioned alot on this forum. If you get those ebay lights then you might as well have kept the honda. Use the search button for DEPOs and you'll get more info on them.

You got me there.
But if i would have a guess i would say they are the same as Predator Chromium on the DEPOs. I'm just saying that if you get the one piece lights your going to get flamed on by alot of people. Also like i said i have had the one piece too and i prefer the DEPOs way better and so does the OP. They also have HIDs which do not come with the one piece. But in the end its your choice and your own style. Here's the link to the lights just incase your interested. Also they are on sale right now.

im an idiot when it comes to BMWs. i dont get what you are saying thats why im asking so i learn. you guys know lots about 318ti. as for me this is my first bmw. all i know so far is that there are projector lights with ccfl or LED angel eyes. i dont know whats the depo type.

xchromium is a rare brand and expensive aftermarket engine parts only sold in Japan. they have special cams, cam gears, piston etc... they are much more expensive than MUGEN and better built. they feature alloy tungsten and chromium composites in the engine parts. usually in escapement design.

haha then there you go, i may not be as smart as i thought i was. I'm an idiot too, I was not too deep into the honda world that i could have know that. I was into CRX's but didn't get too much into them. I looked up xchromium on the google and didn't get nothing on it execpt for this thread.

Again dude if you want good quality go with DEPO. The headlight is made of glass not plastic. The HIDs make it way brighter than any light bulb I have tired. You can also get angel eyes if you decide to. The only thing about DDM is that they take a while to ship out items since they are very popular and have a high amount of orders. Also while your at it i would get the smoked corners for $20 more. Make sure to get the 4 door corner lights as the two door will not fit our cars.

My bad if i came out as an ass. Didn't mean to and i prolly did sound like one. This is my first BMW too and I'm still learning about this car and BMWs as well:biggrin:

no problem just making a point that im totally clueless with this TI.

i have a question. whats this Apexcone E36 European Projector Headlights - The New Industry Standard? compared to this DEPO E36 Gen-4 European Ellipsoid Headlights

also whats the orion and chromium dde plus and dde ultra angel eyes?

free HID option is this for the angel eyes or the headlight?

elchicano318ti
11-12-2008, 05:14 AM
HID is for the headlight, makes it way brighter.

Difference between Apex and Depo would have brand name and price. They are basically the same but i believe Depo may be of better quality.

Apexcone is their "house brand", DEPO is the name brand. Not a whole hell of a lot of difference, but even their manager says the DEPO is worth $25 bucks more.

The free HID option is the headlights, not the Angel Eyes...

I haven't been able to discerne what the differences between Angel Eye options is, maybe someone else can enlighten us? For example, I have DEPO Gen 3 w/o HID, and CCFL (ultra compact fluorescent) angel eyes. I attached a pic here... They look slightly yellow compared to the newer LED varieties.

Oh, Dave beat me to it... (Sir Speedy!)

How do they make money, jeez? Do they buy Depo's for like 20 bucks in order to sell for like 90 or so or what? While other sell for 150. And HID's for 40 bucks? Damn, do they buy it for like 5 bucks to make 35 dollar profit? Cuz HIDs sell for like 100.
