View Full Version : I need a RSM DIY (rear shock mounts)

Hay chaps, can someone point me in the right direction? Should I use a garage do is it a simple DIY? Going to be replacing with Rogue Engineering hopefully

It's super easy.

-Rip out the truck lining
-Unbolt the two nuts holding the RSM in
-Unbolt bottom rear shock
-Slide out.

Do I need to jack anything up or can it all be done with the car on the ground??

you will need a jack to make things easier you can do it on the ground but i dont think you'll like the amount of room you have down there and pushing the new shocks up to get into position will not be the easiest thing

take my advice jack it up lol

Its just the mounts im replacing, nothing else if that makes any differenceto how easy its going to be?

hmmm well it will be be possible to do it on the ground but you will have to pull the shock up pretty hard.
