How about a weekend get-together and BBQ at my place in CT? I have lots of parking available in a school lot next door, an even bigger one a mile away too.

Decent size yard, and BBQ grill.

If everyone brings *something* to eat or drink, there will be plenty for everyone.

There are some great twisty roads just down the street too- we could even arrange a ride for everyone...

PM me or e-mail direct at jim[dot]leach[at]sulzer[dot]com.

I need to get some more miles on my car!

PS BRING PARTS!!!! we can have a nice swap-meet too!!!

This is a very good idea. How far are you from Boston? BTW I am collecting info for a 332ti M3 project. Want to get an idea how much the whole thing would cost me

I am right off of rt 91, at the Mass line. (exit 46 of of 91- then a couple miles to me)

Almost exactly between NY and Boston (sort-of).

From the west, take 90 to 91 south.

From the south-west take 84 to 91.

from the East, take 90 to 91 (or more complicated directions available involving 84 to 190 etc.)

From the North, take 91

It is really quite easy. There are plenty of hotels, shopping etc. in town as well, to keep the other half occupied while the boys play...

It's not far just about 120 miles from home. It's still cold out, so we should make it the end of March or April when the temparatures are warmer. I believe the best day of the week is Sunday when most of us are off. If we come up with something we have to set up the date in advance to make sure the people will have time to arrange their schedule. Then we'll spread the word and there you go

Pretty simple, really. I think a Friday-Sunday event is not a bad idea. Show-n-shine, swap meet and scenic/twisty drive...

By the way, your car is HellRot, not HellRod colored... Hell= light, bright (depends on use) and Rot= Red

The end of March would be better for me. I need time to rebuild my engine after my timing chain snapped.

I’d drop by Jim but my ti is hurting and shouldn’t be driving it right now. Plus I’ll be in Freedom, NH this weekend working.

Okay March has come and gone so anybody interested in signing up for the meet at J!M's place? Mid or end of April? Need to contact J!M about his schedule. He lives in CT so maybe a NE meet from all the different states. :)

yep. No interest it seems.

I can provide a place, but others need to be a bit more pro-active too.

I think the enduring cold, miserable weather may have caused a lack of interest lately; however it is warming up...

Id be down if I was within a 10 hour drive, or the country for that matter! Haha.

I hate how nobody on this site is from around here.

If I can get some M3 swap members together for this meet then you guys will get to see at least three M3 swapped ti in person. ;) J!M had one of the first one with all BMW original parts including the LTW rear spoiler. It'll be worth the trip and a good time. J!M was very generous in offering his place for us to hang out.

I pmed J!M and let's see what date we can set this up if he is available. This will be a one day meet/gtg. Couple of dates are booked 6/15 German car day and 6/22 BMWCCA auto-x. Try to see if larryN can join us. I know some of the MA guys are itching for a meet.

Okay J!M said he can do 6/28 or 6/29 as of today. So what you guys think? Can you mark your calendar for one of the day? Let's take a vote and get some feedbacks. I can see it now a bunch of 318ti rolling down the highway to CT. :)

Hey Nick I didn't see you post under the NED thread for this Friday. Hope you can make it up there. Bring your nice camera too. We need some good pics of the bimmer meet.
