Here goes some:

http://denver.craigslist.org/pts/587680902.html

http://denver.craigslist.org/pts/555712145.html

the first one is OBDI...he needs a direct swap...OBDII
i think the other motor would be too much of a nightmare...he wants reliability...and stock if possible.

hope you don't mind my speaking for ya CaliTopHR

i typed bmw engines on craigslist yea i knew the first was an m42 but u never know and the second i just added because it came up. But craigslist would be your best hope to find one local. Unless someone in colorado does a swap i would check bfc too.

or even since your tryign to stay low on the mileage just go for a 2.8

Philly
03-07-2008, 05:25 PM
im soon going to be swapping out my 1.9L for a 2.8L

If you want the engine when im done with it, its yours for $200-$250 plus shipping... its got 205,000KM's... so like 122,000 miles...
the only problem is im in canada, so shipping probably wouldn't be the cheapest thing.

teetime4one

naw, he'll probably take it rwd_king
i want to say i have dibs on it then...contact us before you offer it up for sale...
$250.00 + shipping puts the project in a target price range.
thank you very much....and keep us posted!

alright, ill let u guys know first for sure...

im hoping i at least get the engine OUT before the end of the month, but if i know someone wants it, ill start getting a move on as soon as i can.

I know I won't sell it around here no matter how hard I try, so thats why such a low price...

I will say though just FYI, it does need a valve cover gasket replacement

I am interested in your engine. I live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and was wondering if you could find out how much it would cost to ship to me. Thanks!
