A/C condeser punctured

I punctured my A/C rad, bent the bottom fins basically all off.

So I'll need a new one for sure.
I pulled mine off pretty easy, but i know now that when i get another one off of a donor, that the A/C most likely will be full. How can i "drain" the used one before i pull it off?

And along with that is there any differences between models?
can i just get one from any e36?

EDIT: sigh, just realised that i spelt condensor wrong.

You're supposed to have a professional do it. I think they evacuate the fluid into some kind of reservoir to be disposed of.

Be good to the environment and don't let it just shoot into the air and pollute the environment like so many other assholes have done!
