There is little point (Besides looks :) to a rear strut bar in a TI. None of the E30 style rear suspension components tie in to the towers besides the shocks. If you can get a look at the rear bracing of a old E30 M3 touring car you'll see the bracing ignores the towers. You can get way more bang by upgrading the bushings and having a good shop brace the floor pan at the pivots. Add the M3 upper shock mounts.

Butt-strut for the rear. Though, I'm not sure if any ti owners have done it.
Last bump for those who didn't see it over the weekend.
I already ordered mine

I've heard that on 95 and older you need "nutserts" and on 96 and up you don't. Is that right? And.. what is a nutsert? You still have to do some drilling no matter what year it is correct? I'd really like one of these, but dont know much about installation of it.

A nutsert is a wide rivet that has threads on the inside. It allows you to thread pieces of metal that would otherwise be to thin for the threads.
I think all Ti's will need nutserts. Some E36's already have threaded holes there, but most of them just have the holes for the nutserts.
If you use the BMW nutserts you really shouldn't have to drill. Just remove the undercoating by scraping it away. Sometimes it can be a pain and using the proper sized drill bit is needed.
If the kit didn't come with nutserts, which it should have for the price, you can buy AVK knurled nutserts which are better quality. That is what TcKline provided with my bar when I bought it.
