it is hard to get a tee time in the afternoon...let alone a single.
but, the dudes in the pro-shop would find a single spot for me.
my problem being this....
when i golf with a low handicapped player i tend to "try" to hard to keep up. and i play badly.
when i play with high handicapped players i see all of the crappy shots they shot and fall into some sort of hypnotic crappy golf shot state.
yet, when i play with the guys that i know play with the same handicap as me....then i enjoy myself. but, they couldn't play every day as i did.
so, there is a little more of a follow up to my user name.

oh, and on Myspace, yahoo and MSN i am nineironninja.....another long story that is totally off topic. lol

okay, so i was working at another course here in the denver area back in 2000-2003.
on a miserable winter day we (the maintenance crew) were in our shop drinking coffee watching Judge Judy on the Boob Tube.
outside we hear a car rippin' through the parking lot...and look at that...he just drove onto the putting green!
i run to my locker and grab my jacket, black ski mask and a golf club out of my bag.
i run outside and jump on the 3-speed Workman cart...give chase...cut through the course...cut the kid off about 3/8's of a mile away and jump out of the workman.
about that time my boss comes screeching up in his pick-up truck.
we ask the driver what he was thinking...he said it wasn't him....i point out to my boss that there was snow and grass inside of his rear wheel wells. so, the cops get involved and the kid works for 40 hours (community service) on our course.
anyway, when i get back to the shop one of the guys asks me, "sean, what club did you grab out of your bag?" i look at it and say, "my 9-iron."
he says, "you look like the 9-iron ninja....funny stuff!"
and it stuck
