Installed my new toy today, took a long time only because I did not have the right tools to assist in following the directions. They called for taking off the front driver tire but I do not have a wrench big enough to fit the special lug tool, so I winged it.

Thoughts on performance: initially the car bogged and I thought something was wrong, also the exhaust smelled really rich at first. After driving around the block a couple of times the car smoothed out and seems to be back to normal. That is all the driving so far, and I think there is a performance boost albeit small.

Pictures will come. Have to clean up the engine bay first! I'll get some posted on Tuesday morning, afternoon for you mainlanders!

i wonder what the difference between the EVO and the normal intake is...i know its a half inch more in diameter, but i wonder if that extra half inch actually does anything. lets see some pics when you get a chance!

Ahhh, the horn. It has been temporarily relocated to a cardboard box until I can figure out where to permanently relocate it.

the instructions on my intake said to relocate it to the cruise control actuator bracket, where the red arrow is pointed:

here's a pic of it relocated on my car:

Aha! My car doesn't have cruise control so I wasn't sure by the provided directions where to relocate it. This bracket, to me, is (was) one of the old air box brackets.

Thanks! Now I can use some of the provided hardware that came with the CAI.

where is the second horn?

i ended up relocating both of them, which was a pain finding a place to mount the second one.

maybe i could remount it in the stock position...right now its not the bestest of locations
