I saw that on realoem too, I thought it was kinda cool, chances are good that they were never sold in the states and that there's something about them that makes them illegal to run on the road (damn americans )

Yes, I have seen many times but not on the road. BMW Cleveland had (has?) one in their show room for years. Give them a call!

yea i saw this too on realoem. But there's this guy that was doing the cabinets on a house we were working on that had a a trailer hidge up to his e36 325. He wasn't carring much but my dad laughed and said, "I'm gonna get one so we can hook it up to your Ti". So im gonna show him the one on realoem to see what he says.

Edit: googled bmw trailer but this is all i came up with.

I have a friend in Ohio who saw one in the local classifieds last year and bought it. Very cool. Expensive when new and most had the optional pull-out ramp. But I recall it was quite a good deal used, in his case. I was even able to get him a copy of the owner's manual from BMW NA, so I'm sure there were at least a few imported.

This page mentions the trailer with a price:

If I had one I would call it Elizabeth.
