how do I install my rear shocks on my 318is 1994 and all the tools I need for this would someone help! I have the brand new tokiko shocks I want to install

You will probably be better off to take it to a shop. Your going to need to do a lot to get the rear struts off, disassemble them, and instal the shocks. If you dont know and you need to ask its probably something best left to professionals.

remember us ti drivers have an e30 rear.

its real easy ,

all u need to do is loosen the screws in the topmounts

then jack the rear up and un bolt the damper from the swingarm

the damper should just fall out :D

it's actually closer to a Z3 but yeah we do, try posting this on bf.c, more people with E36 coupes and sedans there than here

wow!! thanks guys Im going to do it my self .I will have to buy the shock mounts I will let you how it went down . also you think if I can do the plugs on my m42 engine? help me out on the hole presidure I know that it shouldnt b be to hard I used to do it on my 7mgte engine supra . please get back at me!!:smile:

plugs are easy on these!

your 7mgte isnt blown WHOA!

mine lasted me 2 days lol

a good buddy of mine went through 4 7m's in a year

quick motors though!

yeah! the car was very fast but I got good money 4 it when I sold it. it was turbo single 8pda of boost. can you help me out on how to replace my spark plugs? I have bought the bosh plugs platinum +2 number on box is 4303 are these good ? wich on would be better for performance? Im keepn the 318is stock for know but would be looking for performace things later on if you know of any thing that would make my car a little faster let me know plz!!

check the gap (dont know it off hand) on every plug and then in your tool kit in the trunk you should have a spark plug tool. just take the two flathead screws off the plastic valve cover thing and then take that off then take off the plug wires then the rest should be self explained
