Yep, get a new one. Id try to find one in a junkyard or something, buying new is pricey, Im speaking from experience.

Define pricey? I've seen some on PartsTrain.com for $50 + shipping.

I'm considering picking one up because mine is too bent up to be fixed. Only thing stopping me is I don't have enough free cash right now and I need to figure out how to drill out the rivets in the original one w/o destroying the glass or how to remove the glass. . .

i put new regulators in my car.
i drilled out the rivets and used torque screws with washers and nuts when re-installing the new units.
worked like a charm.

replaced both mine and they lasted a year before they popped out and bent. even if I fixed them again, I would be afraid to use my windows. Even In other peoples cars i cringe out of habbit when a window goes up or down. .. and no you can not bend it back into shape, it has to be perfect. I love bmw for makeing such a good ride and engine. to bad everything else sucks ass.. oh yea, dont bother trying to fix you heat either. save your money, youll need it for you headgasket soon.
