I had a chance to take the Ti out for a couple runs last night.

Here are a list a mods.

S52 ODBI swap
M50 Manifold
Turner Chip
LTW Ebay flywheel (the cheap one) F1 I think


Curb Weight: 2551
One seat cobra @27 pounds
No Spare
Only has door panels
Stock battery
1/2 tank of gas
No tools


1/4 mile times: 225 17inch street tires Traction limited run!!!!!!!

My personal best: 14.056 @ 101.34
The Stig (my friend Dave) 13.671 @ 105.71

wow, i figured it would be alot quicker... low 13's at least...
were you hooking up good? what do you have for diff ratio?

I was hoping after my 2.8 swap Id be able to run mid to low 14's.... i guess not :(

well when dragging tires are a huge difference. what were you running and how much psi in the rear?

Its all in the 60' times. Very slow becasue the car would not hookup. The trap speeds shows what the car can do 105.71 is pretty fast. I think I can hit a 13.4-2

Conti all seasons at 32 psi.

if you drop the rear psi down quite a bit you wiill hook up WAY better

Great job Dan!!! :biggrin: Too bad I had to work late so I couldn't join you guys at the track. I would've loved to take some pics and also see people's reaction on the ti runs. There is an air pump station located in the parking lot next to the waiting lanes right behind the stands. This can help you out if you wanted to play around the tire's psi next time. Hope I can make it up next time you are going.
