Have 2 motor mounts for the 318ti. The 2 motor mounts have about ~15k miles on them. New motor mounts are like $90 a piece

I'll even give you a bump for these... If you have over 100k miles on your original motor mounts you should replace them.. Replacing worn out motor mounts with new OEM mounts will make a huge difference in how your cars handles... I just replaced mine recently, and it was very noticable..

i hate to jack your thread Hugo, but I got 2 brand new oem mounts on ebay for $88 shipped.
Just keep them for spares.
I cant keep them for spare cuz you're not suppose to use the 4cyl mounts for the 6cyl.
Second, you are breaking rules by posting that comment. Dont see why it was a necessity for you to post that and could have stayed quiet.

I dont really care anymore. I just laugh rather than get all pissed off. No use of getting mad over stupid sh!t. Back then i was more immature you can say i guess. But whatever, it dont matter now. My reputation is so messed up that no one really cares or it doesnt even matter anymore. Say someone posts a thread for help, their cars pics, their write up for a change on their ti or anything they get mad attention. Me, they dont even bother.

I only said that after you got your panties in a bunch over me posting that new mounts go for really cheap and that new mounts do not cost anywheres near $90 each... when you said that, even though you didn't say a price, it looked like you fishing for high offers when in reality they are worth about $10 each.
You got offended by my post when i was just making a point... plus i like seeing you make a big deal out of little things :wink:
I kind of wanted to just sit back and watch on this one, but I can't help myself but throw my 2 cents on the table.
I feel like whenever there's a chance to jump down Hugo's throat, we all do it. We comb over his posts with a fine tooth comb. There are times when it's appropriate. As a frequent buyer of used/3rd party parts, especially from forums, I appreciate what Philly did, and educating the thread with the going price of new motor mounts, regardless if it looked bad on his part.
Now it's just turned into another pissing match it seems, which is why I tend not to read any post of Hugo's because I'll always find an argument/flame fest.
I'm sorry I continued fueling the fire. Free bump for the motor mounts.

You'd be surprised to know that Hugo and I exchanged probably 20 or so PM's with me helping him understand certain things involved in doing his swap.
Its not like we've been feuding or hating each other this entire time. But I do still love to give him some jabs once in awhile when something silly like this pops up... and when he said i was "Breaking 'sacred interweb forum' Rules", I couldn't help myself... lol, so my apoligies for that I guess.
Either way, I thought people should know, new mounts are already cheap, and getting 'used' mounts is a stupid corner to be cutting in the first place, especially considering they are so cheap.

Look, i was just informing how much they cost. Why dont you call BMW and tell THEM that they are ripping people off. Not me. They set the price, not me.
YES OF COARSE we can find them cheaper. That's our search, our luck, and our hook ups if we find them cheaper. You'll get them cheaper if you take your effort to look around and see what you find. I have saved SO MUCH money on doing this swap finding parts from people. But that's cuz ive been on the damn forums day and night, day and night, looking around hoping to find good cheap prices. I did my search. I got lucky. Imagine i got everything from the dealer? I would be freaking broke!
And no they dont cost 10 bucks. WTF?
Reason i mentioned forum rules its because....
I HAVE ALWAYS GOTTEN PUNISHED FOR DOING THAT SHEET.
I mean f*ck, anything i said was breaking a forum rule. And i always got timed out, punished, banned (like 6x). I swear i think its only me they care so much for. And sometimes im reading other ppls threads (just cuz i cant post doesnt mean i dont read a lot of thread) and there are so many ppl things are doing. Hijacking, breaking thread rules, and so on, and it seems like everybody is being over looked. No one gets in trouble. Nothing. Oh its not Hugo so who cares. Except for that one thread that got closed.
But i mean, im here trying to sell something trying to get something back towards my swap and the only thing these comments are doing is pushing people away. People sometimes see that things are overpriced and they just dont buy it. Simple as that. Ive been looking for parts, if its to high, i dont go around disrespecting their threads with "hey, you are to expensive. I saw this other guy selling for 50 bucks cheaper" Or whatever. I just turn out, look else where. But you are preventing me from being able to sell something. But why dont i see you trashing on other ppl's for sale section? Why just me? I was about to put my M44 up for sale, but i thought asking for .25 cents was going to cause a problem with you too.
You'd be surprised how many people i have helped through PMs. But of coarse, you guys dont know that. Im still just that bad guy. I see a thread for an answer i know, i would go ahead and PM that person with an answer since i cant post. Yes of coarse they tell me thank you, through PM. But of coarse, you guys dont know that. Since you cant see it. Because they dont go back to the thread and say "thanks, hugo helped me out" And it's not like i expect them to do so. I'm here also trying to help ppl out, and not rip them off.

and lastly, if someone is overcharging or mis-representing what a part is worth, I will flat out tell them its bogus....
IE : when i bought my MAF off ebay, buddy wanted $150+ in a BuyItNow/BestOffer sale... i made an offer and he countered with the full BuyItNow price...
So i said "Sellers on here are selling aftermarket MAF's that are BRAND NEW w/ warranty, so what how much lower are you willing to go?" and I got it for $90 shipped.
its what the visible market says they are worth... not BMW, not you, not me...
