2008 CF BMW poker run

So I participated in a poker run put on by the central Florida BMW club...

There was probably in excess of 80 cars, and we did about a 95 mile round trip circuit.. Did everything from city downtown driving, interstate bombing, and backwoods twisty country roads... I found myself in the middle of a big "M" sandwhich at one point and I was actually able to keep up.....

Somebody else snapped of this picture of my car. I also met PanzerM today and saw his clubsport for those that remember him...

The local BMW dealer also had a convertible 135 out there on display, as well as a new M3. I got to spend about 30 minutes behind the wheel of the same M3 last night, and that was a complete blast.. I was still smiling when I woke up this morning...

There were some one lap of america cars at this event, newer M5, and E46 M3.. One of them dinan, the other AA. These are not my pics.. poached them from the official pic thread.. Some of these stickers crack me up..

Well if he was sponsored by them, probably from Trojan. If he just likes stickers, I imagine someone on the Internet sells them.

Yeah, there were a few non-bimmer cars out there that had some sort of funny BMW stickers/logo on them...

I believe several of the forum members got together and got the stickers made at a printshop...

Do you mean the stickers that go on the plastic wheel center cap, or the stick-on aluminum logo that goes on top of the BMW logo in the center of the steering wheel? The stickers are flat so they probably won't look too good on a curved surface. The steering wheel logo has some curve to it, so it might work better.

Pfffft. Spoil sport. ;-) You just need to learn how to present ideas like this. First, tell here that you want to pain it's whole shell like a roundel, but you'll compromise with her by only putting on the sticker. It's a simple negotiation tactic. :biggrin:

Where in central FL was this event held?

We started off at the Orlando Executive Airport, made our way to winterpark, then to downtown Orlando, then hopped up on the 408 expressway and went out to the Lake County area. Stopped at a winery in Lake County, then came back through northern Orange county and ended up in Seminole county...

Basically in and around the greater Orlando area.
