Austin Meet Up!!!

For all you Austin members with a BMW, I would love to meet up with everyone and show me their rides.

We will all meet up at the back street of the Jefferson Center (http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=jefferson+center&near=Austin,+TX&fb=1&cid=12701780288351192003&li=lmd&z=14&t=m).
It's located on Parmer, in between 620 and Andersonmill Rd. It's a flashy apartment complex that only has 1 street. Drive all the way down the street until the road starts to curve right, then you should be able to see us!

The day that I would like to meet is the 3rd saturday of June at 5pm.

So please post if you are coming. I drive a forest metallic green 318ti.

Well if you know a well known location, I really don't see why not. That location that I mentioned is a vacant 5 laned straight away street. Rarely any cars come by. I chose that place for a good reason. And I live only 5 miles away from that spot.

I was actually thinking about doing this every 3rd Saturday of each month; so that way we can always stay in touch and give tips, advice, and help to whomever that might need it.

There actually is a 318ti owner couple blocks away from my house. I haven't confronted that owner yet but I hope to soon.

If you search for the thread, "Texas roll call" it lists more people in texas. Couple dallas people, couple houston, one or two SA.

Well honestly yall shouldn't really be that surprized to see a 318ti in austin itself. I've seen 4 different colored 318ti's in the past month. And I'm a 100% positive they were 318ti's because I got a close up look of their rear to make sure :P

Not surprised about the ti's so much as ti owners on the forums. Ive seen a couple ti's around myself. I'll try to make it down on the 14th, but I'm not sure if ill be able to yet. I'll know when we get closer to it.

Also keep in mind, the meeting is at 5pm. Then at 7pm, we will drive to call rally only 5 miles away to show off. There will be hundered of cars that have nice upgrades. And plus, it can help you give a few ideas.

We're meeting at the backstreet of the Jefferson center.

Here are some easy directions. Go on IH-35 towards 620, then take a left on 620. Once on 620, be sure not to go to the toll road. You will be on a toll road if u take any of the ramps on 620. Ok, then you take a left on parmer. Then after you pass the first light on parmer, you will see the Jefferson center on your right. The front of the complex has 3 convenient restaurants, one of which is subway. Anyways, once you turn into the Jefferson Center, follow the road straight to the back. The road will curve to the right. And you should see me.

PS: Bring a digital camera, this will be a memorable moment as we all drive together as a BMW family to the rally. And also I just met someone at my job. He desperately wants to come with us to show off his M3.

Well i'm so glad that yall could make it. NOT!! I can't believe no one showed up. I spent 2 hours and 30min for someone to show up. 2 hours and 30min of my life gone all because 2 people were unable to spend 10 seconds marking their calender. It's no wonder America is the leading nation of obesity. And don't tell me sorry. If you can find a way to bring back my 3 hours, then i'll forgive yall. Until then, I'm leaving this forum. It's beyond useless. I can only imagine what it's like buying stuff from people from this forum. I bet you forget to ship the item after you get the money. 318ti family my ass.

Dude calm down. Don't bring us down just because two people didn't show up. You should have called them within 5 minutes after the meeting time. If you didn't have their contact info then it wasn't planned out. Not trying to be an a$$ but i would have contacted them a couple days before the meet to make sure.

I'm sorry but I get stood up way to much in life. It's not fair to me. You would just as pissed if you waited 2 hours and 3min in the 103 degree heat. Yes, it was 103. Plus it rained; extreme humidity. I was sweating my balls for these 2 jerks.

All im saying is that people forget and if your hosting the meet you better check up on them. I would be pissed if i was you but don't say anything bad about the Ti community we already get enough crap as it is. I have started meets and i always keep track of whos all going and i always call them up or they call me or the other members if they cant make it or they gonna be late. If you do hold another meet get the peoples contact info such as their cell number so you can call them.
